Living in the country has its obvious advantages but there are a few negatives to it too. The biggest one probably being long travel distances to get to schools, shops and entertainment. Cascades is on Vesperdene Road, a quiet road off Green Point's Main Road. There is 24 hour security, remote controlled secure parking and lift access to the 5th floor.
The V & A Waterfront is an 800m walk away and morning coffee, muffins and gourmet sandwiches and breakfasts are virtually on your doorstep, available from Melissas or Vida e Caffé (150m away on Main Rd)
The daily rate for the apartment ranges from R375 in winter to R595 over the Christmas and New Year period but Philadelphia residents qualify for an automatic 15% discount on the prevailing daily rate. Larger discounts will apply where there is last-minute availability or gaps between other bookings.
