Philadelphia is a small village 40km north of Cape Town. It has roughly 400 residents, a police station, 2 schools, a large graveyard, a handful of shops, 2 churches and 2 restaurants. And now it has its first digital newsheet: The Philadelphia Bugle: providing insight, facts and opinions about this tiny town tucked away amongst the fields and vineyards.

August at Nurturing Fibres Natural Craft Studio- Ou Pastorie

Come along for a day of spinning and knitting at the studio.

A perfect opportunity to ask me questions -if you have any- about the Spaghetti Aran Beret pattern and to cast on the project, or to relax with friends drink coffee and continue with your project on your needles.

As always, spinning wheels are welcome.

A humble but wholesome menu of homemade chicken pie, Kombuis Crunchies, Coffee, tea, homemade ginger beer and homemade lemonade, erm..... homemande beer and organic wine will be on offer.
All organic of course.

We will be open from 10h30 to 16h30.

Please note: The studio is closed on Sundays and Mondays

I look forward to seeing you again.

(Drive past the Philadelphia town turn off along R304 when travelling towards Stellenbosch/Durbanville away from the N7, for about 300m. See the Ou Pastorie/Nurturing Fibres sign board on your left. Follow the driveway down for a couple of hundred metres, keeping to the left.)
